HOW WE WORK
A clear path from understanding to action.
Every engagement starts with a clear view of the business, the challenges in front of it and what support will create the most value.
Lightwheel follows a defined pathway from initial conversation through to embedded operating leadership, with each stage earning the next.

Every engagement moves through the same four stages.
01 — Discovery Call
A free, 30-minute conversation to understand the business, what is happening and what you are trying to achieve.
There is no pitch and no obligation. The first step is simply determining whether there is a fit.
02 — Operations Diagnostic
A focused assessment of how the business is actually operating.
The Diagnostic looks at the situation in more detail, identifies what is working, where performance may be constrained and what needs attention before a larger engagement is considered.
03 — Engagement Plan
Built from what the Diagnostic reveals.
We define the priorities, scope and investment required for the next stage, with a clear view of what the engagement is intended to achieve. There is no separate sales process between the Diagnostic and the Engagement Plan.
04 — Embedded Leadership
Where deeper support is required, Lightwheel works inside the business through an ongoing engagement.
This may take the form of Fractional COO / CEO leadership, Turnaround & Operational Realignment, or Board & Governance support.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Clarity first.
Commitment second.
The process is designed to make each step useful in its own right.
Each stage earns the next.
A larger engagement only makes sense once there is enough clarity around the situation and what the business actually needs.
Scope is defined before commitment.
The Engagement Plan establishes priorities, scope and investment before ongoing work begins.
The Diagnostic can stand alone.
If the business can address the findings internally, there is no requirement to continue into a retainer.
The work stays close to the operation.
Lightwheel works as a partner inside the business, not simply as an outside adviser.
